Since our founding in 1992, we have developed a network of dispensing pharmacies nationwide from Hokkaido to Okinawa under a basic strategy of opening one-on-one pharmacies (one QOL Pharmacy serving only one prescribing medical institution) based on one-on-one trust relationships with medical institutions.
As family pharmacies that meet the needs of communities, we provide safe medical care services with high quality medical care and healthcare support functions.

Since the outset, we always prioritized the interests of patients when developing pharmacies.What makes us unique is that our basic store development strategy is to open pharmacies that allow us to develop one-on-one relationships with medical institutions and, by collaborating closely with medical institutions, we are able to provide patients with high quality medication guidance and appropriate health guidance.
Moreover, as family pharmacies, we are always on hand not only for inquiries about prescribed medication but also for inquiries about other health-related matters such as OTC drugs, health foods and nursing care.

Through alliances with business partners that everyone in the local community is familiar with, we are developing stores in new formats, for instance, pharmacies with drug store functions through our alliance with Lawson, pharmacies inside crowd-pulling BIC Camera stores, and pharmacies with dispensing and OTC product sales functions inside train stations through our alliance with Tokyu.
The QOL Pharmacy Group's approach to store development is unique, giving access not only to prescription dispensing services in extremely convenient locations but also the convenient services of our partner companies.

Point3Home medical care/Community-based integrated care/Cooperation among many medical professionals

To realize the Pharmacy Vision for Patients as indicated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, we are working to develop family pharmacists and strengthen the functions of family pharmacies and we are encouraging them to play their role in community-based care and team-based medical care.
In particular, we are actively focusing on home medical care, which is a priority for community-based integrated care, including expanding pharmacies specializing in home medical care.
At stores involved in community-based integrated care, pharmacists work closely with doctors, nurses, care managers and other medical professionals, even accompanying them on home visits. Alongside visiting medical guidance, we also provide services that leverage our unique strengths, for example, providing a mobile sales service that delivers non-prescription pharmaceuticals and other products to patients upon request.

In addition to contributing to the health of communities through family pharmacies as we have in the past, we also aim to deliver pharmacies that cooperate with community medical institutions to provide medical care more tailored to the specific needs of individual patients.

Focusing on certified pharmacies such as Community Medical Coordination Pharmacies, which provide continuous support to patients not only when they receive treatment as outpatients but also when they are admitted to or leaving hospital or getting medical care at home, and Pharmacies in Cooperation with Specialized Medical Institutions, which are capable of specialized pharmaceutical management for cancer and other conditions and dispensing that requires special skills, we aim to deliver high quality pharmacies that cooperate closely with other medical institutions to ensure that patients can undergo drug therapy with peace of mind.

We are strengthening Health Support Pharmacy functions to develop a community-based integrated care system.
Health Support Pharmacies are happy to offer advice not only about prescription drugs, OTC drugs and health foods but also about diet and nutrition.
These pharmacies also organize health fairs offering bone density tests and simple blood tests at medical institutions or commercial facilities, and participate in health-related events in collaboration with companies.
We are stepping up the development of such community-based Health Support Pharmacies.
